I paint, occasionally I do objects for some kind of installation, that is not independent, but it creates a space for visual perception. I work with the perception of the image - for example, writing a long story titles that do not necessarily correspond with the content of the image, quite the contrary. I like to let there typos and uncertainties, because they are also positively disturbing. That contrast should wake up ability to perceive what is actually happening in the image. Sometimes I paint the walls, windows, hang in a wierd stucco that I made of fabric with stone texture like in cave. I wonder how paintings were exhibited in the past. As in the caves, where people probably even touch it or much later, part of the church – seeing is beleiving, tied to specific "installation" of the rich church or palace architecture, or today in a white gallery. Following these considerations, I´m also creating space for images, some kind of context, but I'm working freely and with hyperbole. This is the conscious part of my work, then there is less bright creative process. In the painting itself, I often paint nature and people that I know, by that I underline the mystery of everyday life, I would say, because the medium of painting was used as the language of spirituality for centuries (that thought is close to me). However, even though my paintings are based on experience (of reality, or sutch that is transformed into dream imagery) the process of painting is showing me new possibilities for the development of the image, or even composition and color makes it impossible to fulfill the original intention and is setting a new one. That is ultimately the most fun and the hardest search. My recent work is inspired by tramping in Bohemia. To be busy with where to make a fire and what to cook and where to stay overnight. Omschrijving Seeing is believing. Can we believe in what we see? Is it that possible to perceive painting? Images, previously "installed" in the church. My question in fake titles, 2D laser cut "old" frames, fake stained glass - however what is fake and what is real?

Omschrijving Chairs for each painting. A reaction to crowded galleries, accelerated spectators and aching feet. Titles as free stories unrelated to paintings, can break away from running mind and allow to see, what is actually going on in the picture. To stop.
